Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the website at corekaratesystems.com, enrolling in any program, submitting any form, or communicating with Core Fitness & Martial Arts (operating as Core Karate Systems, Inc.), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws and regulations.

If you do not agree with any of these terms you are prohibited from using or accessing this site or enrolling in our programs. The materials contained on this website are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

These Terms and Conditions apply to all visitors, users, students, and others who access or use our services including our website, enrollment forms, SMS communications, and in-person programs.

Services and Programs

Core Fitness & Martial Arts provides martial arts instruction, fitness training, after school programs, summer camp, birthday party events, and related services at our facility located at 3540 Triad Ct., Winston Salem, NC 27107.

Our programs include but are not limited to:

• Kids Karate & Martial Arts
• Teen & Adult Martial Arts
• Kickboxing
• Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ)
• Self Defense Classes
• After School Program
• Summer Camp
• Birthday Parties
• Personal Training & Private Lessons
• Yoga

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any program or service at any time with reasonable notice to enrolled students.

SMS / Text Message Terms

Program Description

Core Karate Systems operates an SMS text messaging program to communicate with students, parents, and prospective members who have opted in. Message types include:

• Trial class reminders and scheduling confirmations
• Enrollment and membership confirmations
• Account and billing notifications
• Class schedule reminders and changes
• Studio event announcements and program updates
• Appointment confirmations and follow-up messages

How To Opt In

You may opt in to receive SMS messages from Core Karate Systems by:

• Checking the SMS consent checkbox on any enrollment, trial signup, or contact form on our website at corekaratesystems.com. The checkbox is unchecked by default — you must actively check it to provide consent.
• Completing a paper enrollment or consent form at our physical location that includes SMS consent language.
• Texting a designated keyword to our SMS number as directed in our marketing materials.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your enrollment status and program activity. You may receive approximately 4 to 8 messages per month. We will not send excessive or unnecessary messages.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Standard wireless carrier messaging and data rates apply to all SMS messages sent and received. Core Karate Systems is not responsible for any charges imposed by your wireless carrier.

How To Opt Out

You may opt out of SMS messages from Core Karate Systems at any time:

• Reply STOP to any SMS message you receive from us. We will send a confirmation and immediately remove you from our list.
• Reply HELP to any SMS message for support contact information.
• Contact us directly at 336-793-0878 or shannon@corekaratesystems.com to request removal.

After opting out you will receive one final confirmation message. You will not receive further SMS messages unless you opt back in.

Supported Keywords

• STOP — Unsubscribe from all SMS messages immediately
• HELP — Receive help and support contact information
• START or YES — Re-subscribe to SMS messages after opting out

Data Privacy and Sharing

• No mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent data will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
• SMS opt-in data and consent information will not be sold, rented, or transferred to any outside party.
• SMS data may be shared with our messaging platform provider (Twilio) solely for the purpose of message delivery. Twilio is bound by contractual obligations to protect your data.

Supported Carriers

Our SMS program is available through most major US wireless carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and others. Carrier support may vary.

Section 04

Enrollment and Payments

Enrollment in our programs is subject to availability and completion of required enrollment forms. By enrolling you agree to pay all applicable fees as described at the time of enrollment.

• Trial Programs: Trial offers are available to new students only and are subject to the terms presented at the time of enrollment.
• Membership Fees: Monthly membership fees are due on the date specified in your enrollment agreement.
• Birthday Parties: A $50 deposit is required to reserve your party date. Deposits are non-refundable within 7 days of the party date.
• Summer Camp: Weekly session fees are due prior to the start of each enrolled week.
• After School Program: Fees are billed as described in your after school enrollment agreement.

We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as noted at the time of enrollment. Payments are processed securely through our authorized payment processors.

Section 05

Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation and refund policies vary by program type. Please contact us at 336-793-0878 or shannon@corekaratesystems.com to discuss your specific situation. General policies include:

• Trial Programs: Trial fees are non-refundable after the first class has been attended.
• Monthly Memberships: Month-to-month memberships may be cancelled with 30 days written notice.
• Summer Camp: Cancellations made more than 7 days before a session may receive a credit toward a future session.
• Birthday Parties: Cancellations made more than 14 days before the party date may receive a full refund minus the deposit. Cancellations within 14 days are non-refundable.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule classes due to instructor illness, facility issues, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases we will provide makeup classes or appropriate credits.

Section 06

Health and Safety

Participation in martial arts and physical fitness programs involves inherent risks of physical injury. By enrolling or participating in any program at Core Fitness & Martial Arts you acknowledge and accept these risks.

• You represent that you are in adequate physical condition to participate in the program you have enrolled in.
• You agree to inform our instructors of any physical limitations, injuries, or medical conditions that may affect your participation.
• You agree to follow all safety instructions provided by our instructors and staff.
• Minors must have a parent or legal guardian complete all enrollment and waiver forms on their behalf.
• We reserve the right to remove any student from class who poses a safety risk to themselves or others.

Core Fitness & Martial Arts maintains a safe, clean, and supervised training environment. We follow all applicable health and safety regulations.

Section 07

Liability Waiver

This waiver includes but is not limited to claims arising from:

• Physical injury, illness, or death resulting from participation in classes or programs
• Damage to or loss of personal property at our facility
• Actions of other students or participants
• Negligence of Core Fitness & Martial Arts staff or instructors

If you do not agree to this waiver you may not participate in our programs. A separate liability waiver may be required at the time of enrollment.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website including text, graphics, logos, images, and software is the property of Core Fitness & Martial Arts or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on this website without our express written permission.

The Core Fitness & Martial Arts name, Core Karate Systems name, logos, and related marks are trademarks of Core Karate Systems Inc. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

Website Use

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. Prohibited uses include:

• Transmitting any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or promotional material
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of our website or systems
• Using our website to transmit any harmful, offensive, or illegal content
• Scraping or harvesting data from our website without authorization

We reserve the right to terminate access to our website for any user who violates these terms.
